Dec. 24: Christmas Eve. An excellent and versatile menu offering a choice of 5 different salads, more than 6 taste-tempting appetizers, 7 main entrées to please any appetite or special taste, and 4 desserts. Live music and a great atmosphere. $550 pesos

Dec. 31: New Year's Eve. This varied menu is different from Christmas, and offers a welcome cocktasil, choice of 4 salads, 4 appetizers, 5 different main courses, and 3 desserts. A live band with excellent music to dance to, fireworks from all over the bay, and more! $550 pesos

Jan 4: Noche Mexicana (Mexican Night). Featuring a welcome cocktail, choice of 4 salads, 3 different appetizers, 4 main courses, and 3 desserts, live music and many other exciting happenings! The salsas are "muy sabroso" (very delicious) and are served with home made chips and tortillas. $250/person

Jan 11: Carribean Night.

CATERING YOUR SPECIAL EVENT!

WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS:

El Oasis in Club Santiago offers two ways you can design your wedding and reception. We can cater your meals and organize your event, or you can rent our restaurant and contract your own caterer.

With its exclusive beachfront setting and elegant furnishings, El Oasis restaurant promises to make your wedding romantic and memorable.

CATERING SUPPLIED BY OASIS:

In order to contract your wedding we need a minimum of 100 people or a minimum fee of $2,000 USD (if your wedding is less than 100 people). When you contract a wedding at OASIS, it includes the restaurant, waiters, silverware, dishware, tablecloths, furniture, such as tables and chairs (the equipales of OASIS). If you don't want the furniture of Oasis there is an extra charge of $2.50 USD/person, and instead of equipales we contract wedding chairs and wedding tables, as seen in the photos. Regarding food, you must order at least two courses (this means a salad or soup and main course). We don't make wedding cakes yet, but we supply silverware and dishware for your wedding cake and also we cut the cake and serve it to the tables included in our our price, if you don't contract dessert with us. Note: We don't include flowers or centerpieces, but we can recommend some very good places.

We also organize MASS on the beach or in the restaurant. In this instance, the wedding party covers the expenses of beach wedding furniture, such as chairs, tent-like awnings for shade, etc.

BAR POLICIES: "Descorche" means you pay an extra fee per person, and we supply ice and sodas (Coke, Fanta, Squirt etc.), and you bring the bottle of liquor (whiskey, rum, tequila or vodka), and Oasis will contract a bartender. Basic drinks, like squirt & tequila, rum & coke, whisky & soda, but the bartender will not prepare cocktails, such as margaritas or piña coladas.

Oasis also has a First Level Bar were we charge a little higher fee than the basic, and we give you a cocktail list and you supply all the liquor and ingredients that we need to make basic cocktails such as margaritas, piña coladas, daiquiris, etc. (in other words national cocktails) and we supply all the glasses for your drinks, ice and mixers.

We can guide and suggest what will you need to get married in Mexico. If you do not speak Spanish we will translate at no cost.

There is term of time also involved in the event. This means that we have a certain period of time for your party, and after that there is an additional cost. Also, in Club Santiago we have a time limit. We can't have a high volume of music after 2 a.m. (although after that time you can play soft music).

RENT OF EL OASIS:

When you rent the Oasis, there is a price for 5 hours and another price for 7 hours.

With this contract we only supply furniture (Oasis furniture). We give you the restaurant clean and we let you use the kitchen for the catering company that you contract. You can use the refrigerators, but you can't cook in the kitchen.

We help you organize the furniture for your guests to be seated just like if you contract catering with Oasis.

EL Oasis Hours:

Month of December: Monday through Saturday 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday noon to 10 p.m.

January through March: Tuesday through Saturday 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday: noon to 10 p.m. Closed Monday.

El Oasis will be open through Easter and Holy week; closed for the summer months.

DIRECTIONS TO EL OASIS: Take Blvd. Miguel de la Madrid (Hwy. 200) to the entrance of Club Santiago. Go through the gate and continue on till you reach Hotel Tenisol. Turn left (toward the beach) and you'll run into El Oasis at the end of the road (about 3 blocks)
