Hotel Cely is in the "Zona Hotelera" (hotel zone) on a side street in the small municipality of Salahua, about 20 minutes south of Manzanillo's airport. 

It is four blocks from the main Boulevard Miguel de la Madrid (Hwy. 200), and across that boulevard is Plaza Manzanillo, Manzanillo's largest shopping mall. (The Comercial Mexicana in the mall is a supermarket/department store similar to Wal-Mart.)

While there is no view, Hotel Cely is located in a safe, quiet Mexican neighborhood about 7 blocks from the beach, and close to many restaurants, bars, and shops. On Sunday there is a large open air market (tianguis) about a block away that stretches on for about 20 city blocks.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, and want a chance to enjoy the friendly Mexican people in a small village, this is a hotel you would enjoy.
