There is no better way to enjoy
a beautiful day than riding the wind on a magnificent sailboat, either a
47 ft. or a Departing from the world-renowned Las Hadas Resort and Marina, you'll leave Manzanillo Bay on an adventure of a lifetime. Heading north up the mountainous Pacific coastline to Los Carrizales (The Reeds), a quiet, deep bay where we'll anchor for about an hour. It is said that in this bay more than a million dollars of Spanish gold and silver were lost in a storm more than 400 years ago. One never knows whether snorkelers will happen across the treasure while exploring this uncharted bay, but it is guaranteed they will discover other living treasures of the sea. |

Along the coast some incredible rock formations, such as the blowhole at Elephant Rock and a site called "The Elevator," where the surf rises up and dips down in a majestic display of awesome wave power. Many times dolphins follow the alongside the boat, and we'll pass a memorial of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the patron saint of fishermen. Each year on the Virgin's birthday, a priest climbs the rock and celebrates mass as the fishermen gather around the memorial in their boats. |

The hard and soft corals of Carrizales are awesome, and numerous cracks and crevices in shallow water serve as habitats for many species of fish, as well as octopus and lobster. Both sides of this deep-cut, calm cove have
incredible coral and colorful fish; this is by far the best place to go
snorkeling in Manzanillo. Sometimes Mother Ocean give us a gift of turtles, eels
and rays, in depths of only 8- Non alcoholic beverages are served on your way up to the snorkel site; on our way back alcoholic beverages in addition to soft drinks are available. A light lunch is included with ceviche, shrimp tacos and Mexican salsa. We have several guides to look after the snorkelers, depending on the number of passengers. All the right gear is provided for you to enjoy the most amazing day of your holidays. |
