This wonderful experience starts as we pick you up at your hotel, then head south to Cuyutlan. After a 45-minute ride, we'll stop at the salt museum, sponsored by the University of Colima, then visit the Turtle Sanctuary to see and learn all about turtles, crocodiles & iguanas.
Ride on a panga--a local boat--and get prepared to explore and discover the best of Palo Verde Lagoon, where your guide, who  specializes in the flora and fauna of this ecosystem, will tell you about it. Be ready with the camera; crocodiles, iguanas, exotic birds and many other creatures can be seen at any given moment. Lunch is served in one of the rustic restaurants located at El Paraiso--a fishing village--right on the volcanic black sand beach.
